1 specific gravity.
2Good casting performance, can die casting complex shape, thin-walled precision parts, casting surface is smooth.
3Surface treatment is optional: plating, spraying, painting, polishing, grinding, etc..
4No iron absorption during melt die-casting, no corrosion molding, no sticking to the mold.
5It has good mechanical properties and wear resistance at room temperature.
6 low melting point, melting point 385 ℃, easy to die casting. Precautions in the process of use:
1, poor corrosion resistance. When the alloy composition of impurity elements lead, cadmium, tin exceeds the standard, the casting will occur aging deformation, manifested as volume expansion, mechanical properties, especially plasticity decreased significantly, and even rupture after a long time.
Lead, tin, cadmium in aluminum alloy solubility is very small, so they are concentrated in the grain boundaries to become the cathode, aluminum-rich solid solution to become the anode, in the presence of water vapor to promote intergranular electrochemical corrosion. (Electrolyte). Die castings are aged due to intergranular corrosion.
2.Aging effect
The organization of zinc alloy mainly consists of zinc-rich solid solution containing Al and Cu and Al-rich solid solution containing Zn, and their solubility decreases with the decrease of temperature. However, due to the extremely fast solidification of the die casting, the solubility of the solid solution is greatly saturated at room temperature. After a certain period of time, this oversaturation phenomenon will gradually alleviate, the shape and size of the casting will be slightly changed.
3, zinc alloy die casting should not be used for high temperature and low temperature (0 ℃ below) working environment. Zinc alloy has better mechanical properties at room temperature. However, high temperature tensile strength and low temperature impact properties are significantly reduced.
